Future's work ethic has become a point of reverence from many of his contemporaries who've had the chance to lock in and work with him inside A studio setting. Over saturation is a theme that has followed his career since he emerged out of the shadows of the Dungeon Family a decade ago. Since releasing his first mixtape "1000" in May of 2010 all he's done is release 8 studio albums, 20 mixtapes, a few EP's a long the way, and numerous collaboration projects.

Taking breaks between album cycles to refresh your creative instincts and quality over quantity are two tropes that are are inherently true for most musicians of any genre, let alone rappers. Future's past decade is easily one of the most prolific musical outputs that rap has ever seen. Possibly even too prolific for his own good as frequently the sheer volume of music he releases can cannibalize itself commercially on the Billboard charts. The misnomer about Future's music is although he's considered a turn up artist, his best and most enduring work is done when he locks into his solitude and takes the listeners into the conscious of the monster, or shows off his skills as a lovebird on R&B records.
